Tips on website use

1. Cannot login? HSN Shopcart is coded for login on cross-browsers such as IE, Opera, Nescape.. In case you cannot login with correct password, esp Opera, it uses cache, after loged in, you must refresh the admin CP page. (press the Refresh button on Opera's toolbar or push F5 on your keyboard). For security, there is no splash page where browser shows your password, login now go direct to Admin CP.

2. If HSN Shopcart cannot scan your plug and play languages, please log on the Admin CP and fix your Server Path (in configuration section)

3. Picture used must be consistent! Your website is optimised to display resolution of 800 X 600. If your website is selling mainly dress with model display, your picture must be presized to 550 X 620 at 96px resolution. If the products you sell are squarish, example shoes, bag, watch, or jewelry. You can set to 550 X 550. Remember that the original picture quality must be good even at 96px resolution, if not, it will display poorly. Quality picture, quality display. Set thumbnail view accordingly in your Admin Cpanel (ratio proportionally).
What if you have products mixed, some long and some squarish?
We suggess that you add background or create space around the square image to make it 550 X 620. If you use image program to alter the hight on squarish image, WARNING ! a supposely round ring will looked oblong in shape. Click this link to download Free Picture Resize Starter.
Camera tips First of all you must decide all your products photos if your product photo is rectangular with longer hight, remember to hold the camera vertical FOR ALL PICTURES TAKING. Also, remember to set resolution to medium or low. Each picture would have size space of at least 1.6mb, that will slows down your web page upload.
